Life on the Farm!

Hello Again!

by Rana Pawlowski on 11/12/14

I just redid the site and decided to put the blog back up.  It is my intent to use this as a way of connecting more with the community and a sounding board for new ideas.

We have done a lot of work this year.  We have helped over 80 animals find good loving homes.  I love my home state but we have to do more in terms of education.  Most folks around here get rid of their dogs more than I get rid of my socks.  Decent but ignorant people, we have to help change that.
We are battening down the hatches for winter.  This is always a bad time of year for us.  We will not take in anymore new dogs because we do not have room.  We will make an exception for an Arctic breed sometimes because they enjoy the cold.  While I do no think it is a great idea to take in an animal knowing we don't have a heated area for them, one of our emergency kennels is better than death.  It's not so bad in the summer, they can not only survive but thrive in our soft warm climate.
Tune in for the rants and raves of this old gal as I try to help the best that I can.
Good Night from the Farm!
